Kelsey and Luke at Rock Haven Retrievers are the best! We recently added a beautiful yellow lab puppy which our kids named Auggie to our family. He’s an absolute handsome little devil. Dealing with Kelsey was wonderful from start to finish. She always kept us in the loop with “pupdates” as the litter was being born and for the weeks before we came to pick him out and the weeks before we came to take him home with us. We looked into numerous other breeders in our area and the tri state area. Their facility on their family property was clean and very well kept. You could tell right away that Kelsey really loves what she does and is very good at it. Our pup came with all his shots and family medical history. I would absolutely recommend Rock Haven Retrievers for an addition to your family. Auggie has been with us a mere month and is already the joy of our lives and loved by all. We love our not so little boy, Chester so much! From the moment we spoke with Kelsey, we knew that Rock Haven is who we wanted our puppy from. Not only is Kelsey the kindest, most down to earth soul, her level of knowledge (and Luke’s), dedication, and care provided is top notch. Their family farm is beautiful, and the building where puppies are kept is clean and spacious. Though we didn’t not have a choice in puppy since Chester was the only male of his litter, she still allowed for us to meet him and ask any questions before bringing him home and sent us weekly updates regarding his growth and their ENS/ESI exercises. Chester is full of so much love, curiosity, spunk, and slept in his crate soundly from night one bringing home. We can’t wait to add another Rock Haven lab to our family in the future.
We got our golden retriever puppy, Doug, from Rockhaven in April. We came across Rockhaven while researching golden retriever breeders in PA. After showing interest Kelsey reached out to us and we talked over the phone and shortly after that put down our deposit. After the puppies were born Kelsey regularly sent us updates on the puppies. We loved getting our updates and pictures of the puppies from her. Throughout the whole process leading up to bringing Doug home she was great and responsive to any questions we had.
Kelsey was also great with the process of picking out a puppy around 6 weeks and getting to bring him home at 8 weeks. When Doug came home he was healthy and had a great temperament. Kelsey gave us lots of good info on puppy care, training tips, and helping him adjust to our home.
Kelsey had told us that she introduced the puppies to different sounds, smells and activities and this was clearly effective as Doug’s temperament has been great from the start.

The compassion that Luke and Kelsey have for their labs is above no other. We brought our pup home around Thanksgiving and as you can see he is as handsome as ever. He’s loving, feisty, playful and will snuggle on his terms. Kelsey always answered any questions we had and is very knowledgeable! I would recommend Rock Haven Retrievers anytime.
We picked up our puppy from Rock Haven Retrievers a couple weeks ago and we absolutely adore her! She has a clean bill of health from our vet and she’s a good mix of active, smart, and cuddly. Kelsey, the breeder, was very open and communicative throughout the whole process and gave us weekly updates on our pup. We even got to go out to the property when the puppies were 5-6 weeks old to pick ours out! We would definitely recommend them!
We had such a great experience with Rock Haven Retrievers! Kelsey answered any questions that we had and sent us updates on the puppies throughout the process. We picked up our male puppy, Hudson and he has been so sweet, playful and cuddly. We couldn’t be happier with our decision of picking Rock Haven!

We had the opportunity to work with Kelsey at Rock Haven retrievers to add an addition to our family. Given that we were not previous dog owners, we were not very sure of the process or what to expect. We worked with Kelsey and she was very helpful throughout the process and answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they might have sounded. We were able to meet the puppies before they were ready to go home. That gave us a good chance to look at the accommodations the puppies were born into. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and space that they had to move around in. We are now the proud parents of a beautiful, baby boy. King has been with us for about three weeks and he is a well-adjusted, happy, playful puppy. I am amazed at how far along he has come with his acclamation to his new surroundings. I can only attribute that to how he was taken care of the first eight weeks of his life.

What a wonderful experience with Rock Haven Retrievers! Our Chloe is an absolutely beautiful lab puppy that we picked up in November from Kelsey and Luke.The quality of their English yellow lab is fantastic. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful Kelsey was throughout the process from my first communication with her to getting Chloe. Kelsey is so caring and professional … she was there anytime I reached out with a question … I knew this was going to be the place to get our lab. Not enough words to describe just how awesome it was to work with Rock Haven and, especially, to meet this beautiful family.

We picked up our healthy, beautiful puppy last weekend and could not love him more! The entire experience with Rock Haven Retrievers was seamless and joyful, Kelsey particularly was wonderful in all aspects throughout.
